Experienced Project Engineer or Scientist
Are you a mid-level engineer or scientist in the environmental industry? We're looking for a self-driven individual that can support our environmental and engineering projects and that wants to grow into a recognized expert in their field.
Key Skills:
* Experience with reviewing, interpreting and implementing environmental regulations such as NEHSAP, NSPS, and RCRA
* Experience developing permit applications
* Experience with emissions testing, laboratory analysis methods, and review/evaluation of test results
* Bonus Skill - Experience with the design and operation of thermal treatment or air pollution control systems
Responsibilities:
* Ensure client compliance with state and federal environmental regulations
* Conduct environmental compliance evaluations and develop permit applications
* Provide training and guidance on regulatory standards.
* Provide technical expertise in design, retrofit, and operation of thermal treatment systems
* Support the design, permitting, and management of thermal treatment systems and other waste management or air pollution control sources.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires travel to client sites up to 25% of the time. Travel may occur as back-to-back weeks or on an irregular schedule, depending on client needs. This requirement is a condition of employment.
Qualifications:
* BS in Environmental or Chemical Egr, Environmental Science, or a related field
* 10-+ years' of relevant experience
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently
Location:
* Remote with travel to client sites required
* Preferably located close to a major airport to facilitate travel
